Who we are
This website is run by Hyperloop AI, an AI consulting and automation agency. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means Hyperloop AI. We decide how and why your personal data is used on this site, which makes us responsible for it.
You can reach us about anything in this policy through the contact page.
What data we collect
We collect as little as we need. That means:
- When you book a discovery call: your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us in the booking form, such as your company and what you'd like to discuss. Bookings are handled by our scheduling provider, Cal.com.
- When you email us: your email address, your name and whatever you include in your message.
- When you visit the site: technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you load. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
We don't ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details, and we ask you not to include it in a booking form or email.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your data only for the reasons below.
| What we do with it | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Arrange and hold the call you booked | So the call happens at the time you chose | Taking steps you asked for before a possible contract |
| Reply to your emails | To answer what you asked | Our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries |
| Follow up after a call about the next step you discussed | So you get the scope or information we agreed to send | Our legitimate interest in running our business, or taking steps you asked for |
| Deliver and secure the website | To keep the site working and protect it from abuse | Our legitimate interest in running a secure website |
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this site and our business, and only as far as they need it to do that job. They act on our instructions.
- Cal.com: scheduling, when you book a discovery call
- Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery
- Convex: the database behind this website
- Our email provider: for emails you send us and our replies
We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
International transfers
Some of the providers above store or process data outside the country you're in. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the law provides for such transfers, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for. Booking details and emails are kept while we're in conversation with you, and for a limited period afterwards in case you come back to us. When we no longer need data, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. They usually include the right to:
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that's wrong
- ask us to delete your data
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- ask for your data in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. We'll reply within the time the law allows.
How to complain
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on this page.
